Keysight E1439A VXIbus Input Module

The Keysight E1439A VXIbus Input Module is designed especially for applications in analysis, high-resolution ATE, and RF signal acquisition. The model has an IF input of 70 MHz, a single channel, and a bandwidth of 36 MHz. The Keysight E1439A has dynamic range without spurious, an expansive signal capture memory, signal conditioning, and center-frequency tunable digital filtering. The E1439A is great for VHF, UHF, and u wave tuners because 70 MHz is a standard IF output for such devices. The IF input provides a 36 MHz alias-protected bandwidth. This can be combined with a high quality tuner, then it will produce wide-band sampled data with an expansive dynamic range. This is perfect for use with spectrum analysis and digital radios.

The E1439A has an 18 Mbyte FIFO memory with 144 Mb, 288 MB, and 1.2 GB options available. This model also has a fast data transfer rate of as high as 190 MB/sec, with multiple ways to transport information. One way is the VXI-bus, which can transport information at 2-4 MB/sec. The VXI local bus, however, can transport information at rates as high as 50 MB/sec.

The Keysight E1439A has multiple ways of being triggered. Immediate trigger mode starts instantly. External trigger mode is best when sampling has to begin at the same time as an external event. The level mode triggers on the same level as the input signal. A software trigger mode is also available. Pre-trigger and post-trigger postponements are a regular occurrence.
