Agilent E1419A Multifunction Measurement and Control Card

The Agilent Technologies E1419A Multifunction Measurement and Control Card is a C-size, 1-slot, register-based VXI module. It is perfect for mixed sensor and mixed signal information acquisition and control for design verification of electromechanical parts and assemblies.

This model has Molding Plug-ons (SCPs) that allow different test setups of mixed signals, both input and output, without including additional VXI estimation modules. The integrated signal conditioning provides more precise and repeatable adjustments and repeatable calibration, while eliminating the requirement for partitioned signal molding carriers. The intelligent estimation and control allows scalable setups, on-board Engineering Unit (EU) conversion, and real-time decision-making.

In this model, the measured input esteems and the calculated output esteems can be put away in a 64,000-sample FIFO buffer and effectively transferred to the controlling PC in blocks of data. A 500-element current esteem table is given so client written projects can post the latest reading or condition to the controlling PC. The result of any program computation can be an input for use by another program or subsystem, or it can be an immediate output of several different types.

A Signal Conditioning Plug-on (SCP) is included on a board that mounts on HP's VXI scanning estimation and control modules. These SCPs give various input and output capacities. A few incorporate gain up and filtered analog inputs for estimating electrical and sensor-based signals, as well as frequency, total event count, pulse width regulation, toothed-wheel speed, and digital state.
