Agilent E1411B Multimeter

The Agilent E1411B is a 1-Slot, register-based, C-Size, 5.5-Digit Multimeter, with balanced differential isolation inputs and a software calibration capability. This model features 13 kHz high-speed A/D sampling and 5.5-digit A/D low-noise integration. With this model, the user can complete 5.5-digit, low noise measurements through A/D integration. To make 4-bit readings at a maximum of 13 kHz rate, the user can switch to the sampling A/D. The timer/pacer comes with 76 μs to 65.5 ms time range and 2 μs resolution. In addition, this model offers 40 μs to 16 s delay range. The Agilent E1411B Multimeter provides 450 Vpk isolation between any terminal and chassis as well.

This model can be operated in conjunction with any Agilent FET multiplexer or a VXI relay for the creation of a multichannel scanning multimeter. As an example, consider the possibility of sending only one SCPI command to the E1406A to achieve programming of the multimeter, as well as the channels of the user’s multiplexers simultaneously. The product functions of this model include thermocouples thermistors, RTDs, 4-Wire Ω, dc/ac, 2-Wire Ω, Offset-compensated Ω, etc. It is a well-suited instrument for computer-aided test applications and data acquisition.

The Agilent E1411B offers a trigger function with a built-in timer pacer as well. This model can be triggered externally at 100 ns minimum pulse width and 5 kHz maximum trigger rate.  The Agilent E1411B combined with the E1406A SCPI driver offers shared memory, which requires 8.50 watts of power for each slot`s cooling.
