Keysight E1332A Counter/Totalizer

The E1332A is a 4-channel Counter/Totalizer. This module has been developed by Keysight Technologies. The E1332A is a B-size, 1-slot model. This model is specifically designed for testing and measurement applications. The E1332A offers seven counter functions. These functions include the counter measurement of period average, totalize, frequency, time interval, up/down count, pulse width, and gated totalize. This model offers two input modes: isolated or direct inputs. The required mode is selected by using a software command. The E1332A can remove high-frequency noise from the digital signals. A low-pass filter is available for this feature. This filter is activated through software.

The E1332A VXI Counter/Totalizer incorporates four channels. The frequency range is 4 MHz to 0.002 Hz. This range is available when the noise filter is disabled. The pass frequency of the input digital filter is 4 Hz to 131 kHz. The filter has 16 binary steps. The impedance of the input channel in direct input mode is 100 kΩ. The input voltage range of the E1332A is +5 V to +42 V. The dynamic range of the frequency is 17 dB to 43 dB. When isolated input mode is used, the voltage range reduces to +1 V to +4.2V. This model features channel-channel and channel-chassis isolation. The isolation voltage is up to 170 V_p. The time base frequency is 10 MHz. The E1332A incorporates a P1 type connector.

The E1332A Counter/Totalizer can perform several functions. Specific channels are used for specific functions. Channels 1 and 3 are used for period average and frequency measurements. Pulse width measurements can be done by only channels 2 and 4. The number of transitions (totalizing) can be counted on all channels. However, for gate totalizing, channels 1 and 3 are used for counting. The channels 2 and 4 act as gates for channel 1 and 3 respectively.
