Keysight E1326B 5.5-Digit Multimeter

The E1326B is a 5.5-digit Multimeter designed by Keysight Technologies. The E1326B is a register-based VXI module with 2 slots. This module is specifically designed for those applications in which data acquisition is required. It is also used in computer-aided test applications. The E1326B can be used in two modes. One of these modes is an integrating ADC. In this mode, the model performs 5.5-digit measurements with low noise. The E1326B Multimeter can also be used as a sampling ADC. This mode selection will result in 14-bit readings. In this mode, the E1326B can sample data at a maximum rate of 13 kHz. This model can be interfaced with VXI relay or FET MUX. This feature is useful to design a multichannel scanning multimeter. This model also has a built-in time pacer, which offers flexible triggering.

The E1326B Multimeter can measure a DC voltage in a range of 125 mV to 300V. The accuracy of the DC voltage measurements is 0.0145 %. The E1326B can also measure the 4-wire resistance. Its range is 256 Ω to 1 MΩ. The accuracy of the resistance measurement is 0.025 %. The E1326B also supports the measurements of AC parameters. The supported frequency range for AC measurements is 20 Hz to 10 kHz. The E1326B offers different options for resolution (bits/digit). The supported digit resolution is 4 – 6.5 digits. This model can also measure the temperature of thermocouples, RTDs, and thermistors.

The E1326B 5.5-Digit Multimeter can operate as a single independent module. In this operation mode, input signals are provided at the external terminals of the module. This model can additionally be interfaced with multiplexers to be used as a scanning multimeter. The input signals are linked to the MUX channels during this mode.
