Keysight U5857A TrueIR Thermal Imager

The Keysight U5857A is a -20 °C to 1200 °C, 9 Hz, 320 x 240 Resolution, TrueIR enabled Thermal Imager. This model is a great solution for various predictive maintenance activities from thermal profiling to hot spot detection in commercial or industrial applications and elevated temperature applications, such as petro-chemical and welding. This Thermal Imager offers users thermal images with temperature trending and image logging capabilities- features which are not found in other thermal imagers.

The image logging capability of the Keysight U5857A brings users the capability of logging images at a defined interval over a set amount of time. In addition, the complementary TrueIR reporting and analysis tool enables users to conduct quick equipment failure root cause analysis. Moreover, the TrueIR tool also provides the user with a chance to stream live thermal images from their personal computer. This model features a large 3.5 inch LCD display. The front panel of the Keysight U5857A has various useful keys, including a view/zoom key, a play/delete key, a navigation/enter key, a light/laser key, a back/exit key, etc. With the help of a set of quick access buttons, the user can change the instrument settings in a simple and fast manner.

The back panel of the Keysight U5857A contains a visible image camera, laser pointer, flashlight, IR image camera lens, focus adjustment ring, and a camera trigger key. This Thermal Imager comes equipped with a USB Mini-B port that can be used to connect the instrument with a Windows based personal computer for downloading data from the internal storage. In addition, an SD memory card slot is provided that can be selected as the default storage location.
