Keysight U1061A PXI High-Speed Digitizers

The Keysight U1061A High-Speed Digitizers have two variations. One version, U1061A-002 (Model DC140), is a Dual-Channel, 1-2 GS/s, Digitizer with 1 GHz maximum bandwidth and an acquisition memory from 126-256 kpoints, up to 8-16 Mpoints optionally. The other version, U1061A-001 (Model DC135), is a Dual-Channel, 0.5-1 GS/s, 500 MHz maximum bandwidth Digitizer with 64-128 kpoints, up to 2-4 Mpoints optionally.

This Digitizer and others in its series were created by Acqiris and later acquired by Agilent. Agilent Acqiris High-Speed Digitizers are programmable via the PCI bus. These digitizers are typically used for commercial and industrial T&M ATE and aerospace T&M applications. The Keysight U1061A takes up one slot of a 3U CompactPCI crate and additionally complies with the 3U CompactPCI standard.

The U1061A has DC and AC coupling modes. The DC mode enables every signal part to be passed through to the module, whereas the AC mode couples signals and eradicates the input signal’s DC part, thus filtering out any signal part below 10 Hz. Another unique feature of the Keysight U1061A Digitizer is that the front-end electronics are all mounted on a mezzanine card that can be removed. If the parts wear or are damaged over an extended time period, then the mezzanine card ensures that replacement will be quick and effective.

Since the U1061A has 50 Ω and 1 MΩ input impedance settings, it is easy to utilize with numerous types of probes. The 50 Ω setting is usually utilized for active probes and low impedance passive probes. However, the 1 MΩ setting is typiclaly utilized for high impedance probes.
