Keysight PXI N2100B PXIT Digital Communications Analyzer

The Keysight 4-slot N2100B Digital Communications Analyzer can be utilized for several types of applications, such as high port count burn-in test, multi-port system assessment, telecoms equipment test, fibre channel, Ethernet, parallel optics, and other similar applications. This analyzer utilizes a coherent patented vector under-sampling method. This method is a blend of the measurement features and advantages of a real-time scope with the bandwidth of a sampling scope.

The Keysight N2100B PXIT Digital Communications Analyzer is suited for manufacturing settings. This analyzer has a single ended electrical input, as well as 4 Bessel Thomson filters. There are many valuable features on the Keysight N2100B, including the ER correction factor and smart post processing. The ER correction factor allows users to apply an offset to the measured Extinction Ratio and allows tighter correlation with other devices. On the other hand, smart post processing allows several acquisitions to occur without processing the information happening simultaneously. Users can decide the best time to process the obtained information, which will help improve throughput.

The sample rate of the N2100B is 160 MS/s with 1024 points for every acquisition. The maximum length for a pattern acquisition is 2047 bits. There is 1 single ended electrical channel on this analyzer and an AC coupled SMA electrical connector. There is also an FC/PC optical connector. The Keysight N2100B additionally has four optical filter combinations for the user to choose from, which can be found in the user manual for the analyzer.
