Agilent PSA E4443A
Since its introduction in 2000, the PSA Spectrum Analyzer has been continuously updated and enhanced, serving the aerospace/defense and communication industries in many applications where the highest performance and wideband analysis capabilities are required. With frequency coverage to 50 GHz and beyond, and support up to 80 MHz analysis BW internally or 300 MHZ using external digitizers, the PSA will continue to provide excellent service for years to come. The Agilent PSA Series offers high-performance spectrum analysis, with powerful one-button measurements, a versatile feature set, and a leading-edge combination of speed, accuracy, analysis bandwidth and dynamic range. The E4443A model is part of the PSA Series and offers a range frequency between 3 Hz (DC coupled) to 6.7 GHz (Ac coupled). This is the model with the lowest frequency in the series.
The Agilent PSA E4443A includes the main Spectrum Analyzer applications such as, the basic spectrum analyzer mode for general-purpose spectrum analysis, I/Q analyzer for demodulation measurements, and power suite for "1-button press" standards-based power measurements of signals found in the most common radio formats used in modern cellular communications. Additionally, PSA's three internal expansion slots allow ample room for future growth.
Failure to ground the analyzer properly can result in personal injury. Before turning on the analyzer, you must connect its protective earth terminals to the protective conductor of the main power cable. Insert the main power cable plug into a socket outlet that has a protective earth contact only. DO NOT defeat the earth-grounding protection by using an extension cable, power cable or autotransformer without a protective ground conductor.
