Keysight M8195S Arbitrary Waveform Generator

      The Keysight M8195S Arbitrary Waveform Generator has a sample rate up to 65 GSa/s, a built-in frequency and phase response adjustment, embedded DSP that allows real-time waveform and impairment generation (in conjunction with the 81195A software), synchronization of up to 16 channels, and a High Channel Density of 1, 2, or 4 channels per module.

      This model has 25 GHz of analog bandwidth, 2 GSa of memory per Axle module (expandable to 16 GSa), 16 GSa Extended memories capable of generating PRBS7, PRBS10, PRBS11, PRBS15 to PRBS31, up to 1 Vpp(se) or 2 Vpp(difff.) output amplitude, and up to 32 GBaud signals.

      The sequencing of a single M8195S can be regulated for the ‘Trigger/Gate Input’ and also the ‘Event Input’ of the M8195S. In a synchronous framework that consists of one M8197AS and up to four M8195A, the sequencing of the whole synchronous framework can be controlled for the ‘Trigger/Gate Input’ and also the ‘Event Input’ of the M8197A. A single M8195S or a synchronous framework could work asynchronously or synchronously. In the event of synchronous operation, a timing prerequisite between the Reference Clock Output and ‘Trigger/Gate Input’ or ‘Event Input’ must be met. The perfect execution will be obtained once a calibrated M8195S has been stored for at least 2 hours, within the operating temperature range of 0ºC to 40ºC and after a 45 minute warm up period.
