Keysight E4431B Digital RF Signal Generator

Featured with a variety of digital modulation functions, the Keysight E4431B is a 250 kHz - 2000 MHz RF Signal Generator. This model is considered an ideal solution for a broad range of applications, including manufacturing, troubleshooting, and R & D. The E4431B Signal Generator is a comprehensive feature set because it can generate standard as well as custom digital modulation formats and filtering and burst shapes. Moreover, the user can utilize this model for versatile analog modulation with superior reliability, quality, and uptime.

The E4431B has -136 dBm - +10 dBm output range and provides down to 0.02 dB output resolution. With this model, the user can achieve 0.01 Hz frequency resolution at an output accuracy of +/- 0.5 dB. This Signal Generator fully supports custom digital modulation for >15 variations of MSK, PSK, FSK, and QAM. In addition, this model supports AM, FM modulation, phase, and pulse modulation. For remote controlling and communication with other instruments, the E4431B comes with two connectivity options: GPIB and RS-232.

The Keysight E4431B comes at a low initial cost, but the functionality can easily be extended through a broad range of options and application software.  A few examples of standards for whom the user can acquire application software are 1xEV-DO, Bluetooth, PDC, GSM, W-CDMA, PHS, and cdmaOne. The E4431B offers wideband AM and versatile data generation empowered with burst capabilities as well. For communicating the unit`s parameters and state, there is a bright LCD with a brightness adjustment provision.
