Keysight E4431A Digital RF Signal Generator

The Keysight E4431A is a 250 kHz to 2000 MHz (2 GHz) Digital RF Signal Generator. This model features a built-in function generator and an electronic attenuator, and is known for its expandable, flexible architecture with tremendous flexibility for upgradation through options. The Keysight E4431A has a two-year calibration cycle - a feature which makes this Signal Generator cost friendly.

To provide all the necessary information on the current instrument state, such as frequency and amplitude settings, modulation status, error messages, and status indicators, this model comes equipped with an LCD. For better visibility, the user can have the display contrast adjusted. In normal mode, the Signal Generator displays dark text on a lighter background. However, the user can have this display configuration reversed by using the "inverse video" function to view the relayed information on a dark background.

The E4431A Signal Generator comes with a dedicated Help Key on the front panel. Users can get a short, to the point textual description of the front panel`s hard and soft keys by pressing the Help Key. This Signal Generator also has an auto-ranging line voltage input and can be operated with a 90-132 or 198-254 volt AC power source.  As a user, it is not necessary to make any adjustments. While serving at its rated capacity, this model consumes 200 Watts of power. The Keysight E4431A weighs around 12.7 kg (28 lb.) and has physical dimensions of 5.25 in. H x 16.8 in. W x 17 in. D.
