6282A

The 6282A is a DC power supply. It is rated at 10 volts and 10 ampere. It has implementation both as CC/CV. It also has 10-turn voltage and current controls. The 6282A power supply is capable to offer constant voltage and constant current. It can crossover automatically from constant voltage to constant current operation. It happens only when load current exceeds the preset values.  The supply can also be used as master supply. This function is achieved in auto-tracking mode of the supply. It can control one or more supplies in this mode. The other supplies work as slave in this scheme. It allows to achieve various voltage levels for different requirements.

The 6282A offers higher voltage in series operation. The instrument facilitates user to have one knob control operation. It is available for auto-series operation. It enables to control total output voltage from master supply. The 6282A power supply comes with single meter. It is used to measure output voltage or output current. It can be measured in two different ranges. A switch is provided on the front panel to select between the two ranges. The power supply has various front and rear terminals. The barrier strip terminals are located at the rear of the power supply. It allows ease in adopting many operational capabilities.

The 6282A also offers remote programming capability. It enables to program it from remote locations. It makes use of an external voltage source and resistance. It also implements mechanism to control degradation in regulation. The 6282A makes use of remote sensing feature to achieve this capability. This degradation occurs at the load side. It is due to the voltage drop in load leads. The remote sensing option offers easy method to reduce it in power supply.
