HP/Agilent 6263B DC Power Supply

The 6263B DC Power Supply is manufactured by HP/Agilent. This model has a 3-wire, 5-foot cord for input power links, 0 to 20 volts @ 0 to 10 amps DC output, weighs 34 lbs., and has dimensions of 3.5 x 17.5 x 19 inches. Standard features on the 6263B include: RFI conformance to MIL-I-6181D, remote error sensing, low peak-to-peak ripple, remote programming, and a low output impedance. The 6263B can be operated on the bench or in a 3.5 inch high rack cabinet.

Remote sensing and remote programming capabilities are available on the 6263B DC Power Supply. These capabilities can be accomplished through the back panel terminals that enable access to control points in the regulator circuits. For remote programming, the 6263B’s output current and/or voltage can be operated from a remote setting by changing a voltage input or resistance signal to the power supply’s current or voltage regulator circuit. On the other hand, the remote sensing capability links the voltage regulator’s feedback circuit to the load terminals, instead of to the power supply’s output terminals. Thus, while functioning in the constant voltage mode, a voltage drop in the load leads will be halted. Another pair of sensing leads, which do not transmit any load current, prolong the feedback loop to the load terminals. 

There are also several obtainable options for the HP/Agilent 6263B Power Supply, including, but not limited to: a ten-turn output voltage or output current control, chassis slides, a three-digit graduated decadial voltage or current control, and modifiable voltage and current programming.
