The Keysight 6205C is a dual output power supply. It is equipped with multiple options for output voltage control. There are total 10-turn output voltage controls. It also has volt-ampere meter and switches function for the variable range. The front and rear terminals of 6205C enhance the capabilities of the instrument. It also includes an output range switch for voltage. The users can select between high or low voltage with the help of this option. It is completely transistorized instrument. It makes it suitable for bench or relay back operations.

The 6205C dual power supply consists of dual range sections. Each one of this section is controlled independently. Each section has the capability to provide 0 to 40 volts at 300 mA and 0 to 20 volts at 600 mA. The users are provided with front panel meter for each section. The operating controls are also divided into separate sections. Users can also navigate between different modes using range switches. Both supplies are capable of providing the constant voltage. They also incorporate overload protection. The 6205 comes with two sets of programming terminals. These are located at the rear of the unit. It enables users to implement many smart operational capabilities.

The 6205C power supply can be used in series and auto-series operation mode. Series mode is used when a high voltage is required at the output. Auto-series mode allows one knob control of the power supply. It can also be used in parallel operation mode when the greater output current is needed. The 6205 also has auto tracking option for various measurement options. The temperature range for normal operation is 0 to 55 °C. It has low ripple and noise. It has a value of 200 µV RMS and one mV peak to peak.
