Keysight 8590L Portable Spectrum Analyzer

The Keysight 8590L is a low cost full-highlighted, frequency RF Spectrum Analyzer that is highly accurate and intended to meet the user’s estimation needs. The interface is simple to use and gives access to more than 200 implicit functions. The frequency counter of this model eliminates the requirement for a different frequency counter with ±2.1 kHz of exactness at 1 GHz (±7.6 kHz from 0 to 50 °C).  This model offers multiple resolution bandwidth filters that optimize the tradeoffs of speed, sensibility, and the division of closely separated signals with the user’s decision of 10 resolution bandwidth filters, starting at 1 kHz. The 8590L has 145 dB of amplitude measurement range, which can measure signals specifically with - 115 dBm to +30 dBm of amplitude measurement range.

This Spectrum Analyzer has a one-button estimation routine, which saves time, setup, and preparation for function such as Adjacent Channel Power, Signal Bandwidth and Third Order Intercept (TOI). The phase noise of this instrument goes from 105 dBc/Hz at 30 kHz offset; this uncovers little signals near carriers with an inside phase noise that will not get in the way. This model also has double interfaces that operate remotely and print straightforwardly with optional double interfaces that mix either a GP-IB or RS-232 port with a parallel port. The 8590L has a zoom window split screen that enables the user to zoom in on signals while seeing the wide range.
