Keysight 83622B Synthesized Swept-Signal Generator

Designed to provide +13 dBm calibrated output power, the 83622B is a 2 - 20 GHz Synthesized Swept-Signal Generator from Keysight. This model offers -50 dBc harmonics at <20 GHz in typical conditions and supports external leveling at 200 μV to –0.5 volts leveling input. The 83622B is a complete analog sweeper with amplitude, pulse, and frequency modulation capabilities. This instrument can operate with a low <-80 dBc phase noise in SSB measurement. Featured with various sweep modes, the Keysight 83622B is considered as standard for applications where versatility and speed of a sweep oscillator and the accuracy and high performance of a synthesized source is required.

The Keysight 83622B comes with a simple, yet effective front panel. Users can change all function’s values with the help of a unique rotary knob provided. For inputting desired values directly, there is a standard numeric keypad available as well.  In addition, the user can operate their instrument in CW mode by using the front panel directly. In CW operation mode, the 83622B produces a low-noise, single, synthesized frequency. In start/stop sweep operation, the instrument provides a frequency span as broad as its design frequency range or as narrow as 0 Hz.

For establishing precise sweep-based operation, the user can operate the Keysight 83622B in center frequency /span mode as well. In fact, it is an alternate way of establishing swept operation. This Swept Signal Generator weighs around 27 kg. and is offered with 3.5 mm (female) and Type-N (female) adaptors.
