Keysight MSO7104B Mixed Signal Oscilloscope
The Keysight MSO7104B is a mighty mixed signal oscilloscope from the InfiniiVision 7000B Series. It’s a 1 GHz bandwidth model with 8 Mpts memory and a 4 GSa/s sample rate. Apart from other excellent features, this model has an update rate of 95,000 waveforms per second, which works in conjunction with auto memory. This oscilloscope operates with 99% probability of capturing the infrequent glitch after running for 10 seconds. It takes only 1.5 seconds (on the average basis) to obtain one glitch.
This mixed signal oscilloscope is compatible with a variety of probes including: active probes, passive probes, active differential probes, high voltage passive probes, single-ended active probes, etc. It can also be coupled with current probes to view the AC or DC flowing through in the form of a waveform. For a smooth and seamless configuration and operation of various probes, the Keysight MSO7104B comes equipped with a feature called the AutoProbe interface. This system automatically sets probe attenuation factors appropriately after recognizing the probe. The user will find this function extremely useful. This model also includes the 250 ps peak detect function, which helps the user find thin and narrow glitches quickly.
Another worthy feature of the Keysight MSO7104B is the bus mode display for a quick and easy read-out of binary or hexadecimal representation for logic signals. This mixed signal oscilloscope can be used to trigger on the analog HDTV/EDTV standards, including 720p, 1080i, etc. For advanced waveform calculations and mathematics, the user can take advantage of this model’s math functions, as well as FFT analysis (Fast Fourier Transform).
