Keysight 6031A Power Supply

The Keysight 6031A Power Supply has output associations on the screwed terminals of the back board. The positive or negative output terminal can be ground, or the output could float up to + 550 VDC (counting output voltage) from the chassis ground. The output voltage might be nearby or remotely distinguished. This Power Supply is fan cooled and packaged in a modular cabinet, perfect for Agilent Technologies Framework ll.

In this model, a Fault Indicator (FLT) and Remote Inhibit (INH) circuit gives extra shutdown protection, and either the GP-IB or the controller should fail. The FLT circuit gives the client the means for comprehending the status of any unmasked fault register bit independently of the SRQ function available through the GP-IB. The user does not have to depend on the controller to inform them about a fault within the 6031A Power Supply. The INH circuit (which is autonomous from the GP-IB) controls the RI bit in the fault registers, and gives a way to disable the supply remotely (i.e. a panic button). This provides the user a way to bypass the controller and/or GP-IB to disable the supply.

By utilizing the GP-IB, the client can control Output voltage setting (12 bits), Output current setting (12 bits), Trigger (update output), Output disable/enable, OVP reset, "Soft" voltage and current limits, Status reporting, Service request capability, Foldback protection, Output voltage measurement (12 bits), Output current measurement (12 bits), OVP setting measurement, Machine state initialization, 16 machine state presets, and Self-test features.
