Keysight 54642A Oscilloscope

The Keysight 54642A is a 2-channel, 500 MHz Oscilloscope with powerful flexible triggering including LIN, CAN, SPI, and USB. It is a general-purpose instrument that gives you an affordable way to see extended time periods at an elevated sample rate, so you can keep an eye on details in your designs. For waveform mathematics, this model offers analysis functions including differentiation, integration, and Fast Fourier Transforms.

This instrument comes equipped with a 7-inch raster monochrome CRT designed to operate at 255 vertical by 1000 horizontal points. It comes with a built-in help system featuring key-specific help in 11 languages that can be displayed by pressing and holding any soft key of interest. As far as the I/O interface is concerned, the Keysight 54642A comes with a standard Parallel Port with printer support, and an RS-232 Serial Port with 8 data and 1 stop bits.

The Keysight 54642A Oscilloscope is equipped with a powerful measurement capability. You can continuously update measurements by actuating the Automatic Measurements feature. This model comes with a built-in 5-digit frequency counter with a tendency to count up to 125 MHz on any channel. This model has 8 MB of MegaZoom deep memory, thus it captures without a sluggish response. The MegaZoom deep memory always stays enabled as it is not a particular mode. To view up to 12 bits of resolution, while operating in real time modes, the Keysight 54642A provides a High-Resolution Mode. It works by averaging data points (sequentially) and mapping the achieved average to the display while operating at slow sweep speeds.
